1999 30th Anniversary Trans Am WS.6 #618
Purchased new on April 10, 1999 this is my little toy. I was lucky enough
to have the use of my dad's car for the first 6 months of ownership.
I only put 100 miles a week on the car. Unfortunately, the day came where
I had to move back out for school. That was when my toy became a daily
driver. Over the course of the next three years, I put roughly 48,000
miles on it. It killed me to drive such a rare car so much, but that
was my only choice. As performance parts were becoming more available,
the car wasn't the fastest on the block anymore. It needed more POWER!!
The car got some big mods.
Now she sits in the garage, resting and allowing the miles to catch up with the
months. There are still big plans for the car if I decide to keep it. Right now
I am toying with the idea of getting a Cadillac CTS-V for myself as a graduation
present. Could I really give up the T/A? I don't know.
I thought I was going to have to sell the 30th when Molly was born, so I
de-modded the car and sold most everything except for the cam. Some days
I really wish I still had the grotyohann headers. Those were nice. Turns
out that I kept the car and had to buy new headers and a lid and some other
parts. The things you go through!!!
