Lindsay and Matt
Welcome to my personal website!

My name is Matt Brotherson. I am a graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton. Majoring in Business Computer Information Systems (BCIS), I held a 4.0 major GPA. I am currently a Programmer/Analyst with Heartland Payment Systems in Frisco. My main projects are ASP and c# ASP.NET web development and c# ASP.NET windows applicatons.

I have a lovely family - wife Lindsay and daughter Molly. When I am not in school or doing school work I spend most of my time playing with my daughter. She enjoys going to the park, reading, swimming, helping me work on my car or chasing our four cats.

This page was created as a homework assignment for BCIS 4720, an E-commerce class during my last semester at UNT. Here you may peruse through my resume, see the various cars I've had over the years, check out some neat links or visit my family webpage to learn more about my family.

My interests include my cars, computers, my cats and following the Mavericks and Stars. I enjoy modifying my cars and building computers. Additionally, I like to set up computer networks. My local area network at home consists of a Windows 2003 Advanced Server domain, two Windows XP Pro workstations (both P4 2.66GHz), 1 XP Media Center player (Athlon 1.1GHz), one XP Pro laptop (PIII 600), and two Dell Axim PDA's. The laptop and PDA's browse the network and internet wirelessly and the others are hard wired. I have two other PC's and two other laptops that aren't being used in the network. The two laptops are used in running diagnostics on my car via OnBoard Diagnostics II interface. The server machine serves my family webpage as well as handles email with Exchange 2003. FTP, SSH and Terminal Services are also available.
